The Associates programme is offered to a wide age range of students.

Senior Associates 14-15yrs
Advanced Associates 16-17yrs.

Applications for full-time training as well as Mid, Senior and Advanced Associates have now closed and will reopen in September 2019. Applications for Junior Associates are also closed, and will reopen in January 2020.

Daniel Hope Master Workshops!
Wednesday’s 7th 21st 28th August 2019

Giving young performers a backstage pass to West End’s hottest shows through master classes with cast members from West End shows & national tours. Students learn choreography in the style of the selected shows and participate in a Q&A with the cast member in these workshops. This is a truly unique way for students to experience the dance styles used in some of today’s top shows.
Workshops are from 9am-3pm for £35 per child per workshop.

Ballet West offers short courses of intensive dance training in the idyllic surroundings of Ichrachan House, Taynuilt. Courses are run during the Summer holidays only, i.e. during July.

The dates for 2019 are as follows:

Week 1:   30 June - 5 July 2019
Week 2:     7 July  - 12 July 2019
Week 3:  14 July - 19 July 2019
Week 4:  21 July - 26 July 2019

 ​The classes are taught by well-respected classical dance professionals such as Jonathan Barton, Jordi Guitart, Natasha Watson and Indra Reinholde.  

Our Summer Schools take place throughout July and are open to all young people with an interest in, and talent for ballet from the age of 8 upwards.

Students should arrive on the Sunday evening prior to the course. The classes begin on Monday morning and culminate in a short display for parents on Friday afternoon.

​The tuition cost of all the courses is £650/week. Full board accommodation from Sunday to Thursday night inclusive is provided free of charge.

Pre-Vocational Course

A year-long Ballet and Contemporary training and performance programme for students preparing to apply for vocational dance training.

Applications are now open! Application deadline is Sunday 26th May 2019  


 Applications for Auditions and Open Days for 2019 entry are now open.

Auditions commence in November and last a whole day. Once you have registered,  you will also be able to sign up for a free Open Day with up to two named guests. (see KEY DATES)

Performers College offers a three year full time professional course leading to The Diploma in Professional Dance or The Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre, in addition to The Performers College Diploma. The Diploma is validated by Trinity College, London and is set at level 6 on the Qualifications and Credit Framework. Performers College has been deemed to be an Exemplary Provider of The Diplomas. The Diplomas are equivalent to a BA (Hons) degree and following graduation students have the opportunity to convert their diploma to a degree. Students are also able to study for the ISTD teaching exams (DDE) in the subjects of tap, ballet and modern. This is an extra curricular subject. All students have access to a well equipped gymnasium.

Entrance to the course is by audition only for applicants aged 16 and above and of a satisfactory standard in one or more genres, whilst showing a respectable academic level.

In some case’s Masters will accept applicants with no previous training providing they show potential and have the correct physical attributes.
